Aston Martin Announces 2009 V8 Vantage Dynamic Launch Tour

Aston Martin Announces 2009 V8 Vantage Dynamic Launch Tour. The new 2009 Aston Martin V8 Vantage will make a special appearance at Aston Martin of New England in Waltham, MA on October 9, 2008. The stop is part of Aston Martin’s 2009 V8 Vantage Dynamic Launch Tour, covering over 8,300 miles and 32 locations across North America. At each event, prospective customers will be able to test drive both coupe and roadster variants of the new cars. They will also enjoy an exclusive view of Aston Martin race cars, including the Nurburgring winning V8 Vantage N24 and a replica of the 2008 Le Mans GT1 winning DBR9. The new 2009 V8 Vantage benefits from a number of technical changes including significantly up-rated engine performance from a new 4.7 litre power unit, revised dynamics, improved Sportshift™ transmission software, and a new sports suspension option. Inside, the changes include a new centre console with revised switchgear and the introduction of an ECU replacing the previous V8 Vantage key. The tour will kick off the west coast on September 13 in Seattle, WA, while the East Coast portion begins on September 26 in Lake Bluff, IL. A total of 8 V8 Vantages will be included in the tour, giving a grand total of 3,360 horsepower, 64 cylinders and 2,768 lb/ft of torque.
“Through this tour and driving event we hope to introduce the 2009 V8 Vantage to new and existing Aston Martin customers”, said Julian Jenkins, Vice President and General Manager of Aston Martin North America. “The 2009 V8 Vantage is designed and engineered for an unparalleled daily driving experience.” here to get Aston Martin Announces 2009 V8 Vantage Dynamic Launch Tour
